Have you invited anyone to Church lately? How about small group? Why is it so hard to ask someone?
It’s easy enough to talk about football or the kid’s baseball game. And it’s super easy to proudly tell of the accomplishments your kids have made.
But it can be just as easy to invite someone to church. Once you get past the initial nervousness it’s as easy as any other subject.
Here’s a tip for you: FIND COMMON GROUND
Find out what you may have in common with the person and guide your invite from there. Here’s a couple of examples.
Do they like fishing? Tell them of some of the fishermen at our church.
Do they enjoy crafts? We have several ladies that fit the bill.
How about shoes? We all know of someone to tell them about!
Just find common ground and God will open the door for your invitation. You have the opportunity to impact someone for eternity!
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
